The Essex Austin 7 Club is pleased to announce their second tour of Essex and Suffolk. The dates: Sunday 10th to Friday 15th June 2018.
Once again it will be centred around the Essex Golf and Country Club in Earls Colne, North Essex and close to the border of Suffolk.
Five days of tours will be arranged of 80 miles or less for a more leisurely pace to take in the surprisingly beautiful countryside of Essex and neighbouring Suffolk with time to visit the many attractions including medieval villages, stately homes, gardens and more. On our doorstep is also the Stour Valley made famous by painter John Constable.
The counties are crisscrossed with rural roads and we should have very little need to use any main routes. You will also be unlikely to come across many Essex boys and girls with fake tans and white stilletos!
The details so far.
The bulk of the accommodation will be in the Essex Golf and Country Club where 38 rooms have been reserved. There are some B&Bs and campsites in the area and if you would rather stay in one of these please inform us as soon as possible and we will forward details.
